Awesome.
This book is awesome. It had me frustrated, gushing, angry, and falling in love together with the characters.
At first, I had problems with the main character. Especially her relationship with Eli. Why would anyone want to be with someone who doesn't even know a thing about her? Who goes with other girls when she's not around? I was asking myself, Why wouldn't she listen to her best friend? Why won't she break up with him? Why? WHY?
And then comes Jordan Levitt. A guy who is willing to give up a lot for her but she ruins it because of her insecurities and because of what others are thinking about them.
I understand that she's like that because of her parents, but I think that Jordan had given her so much reasons to trust him. That he had assured her more than enough that he is crazy about her. But nooo -- she has to push him away.
I wanted to scream at her because she already has this super amazing guy in front of her but instead, she closes the door in his face.
I hated what she did because it did nothing good to both of them anyway! It broke my heart when they broke up because it's just so tragic. I hated how much she hurt Jordan because I don't think he deserves it. What they had was something amazing but it was ruined because of nothing.
Reading this was like Beautiful Disaster all over again. I was frustrated that every time when finally, finally everything is great, something just has to ruin it again.
In the end though, all is well because she finally learned how to shut everybody out (took her a long time though, frustrating) and listen to what her heart is saying -- which is the most important. :)
